Photo Report: Brixton Cycles stages Omnium and Dernyfest event at Herne Hill Velodrome

Brixton Cycles Club staged another successful race event at Herne Hill Velodrome on Sunday afternoon. The cycling club based around Brixton Cycles took over the historic venue to host a Women's Omnium and Men's Dernyfest.

The Women's Omnium saw some top riders competing across various categories including bunch races, sprints and timed events. There was even a competitive edge with a mother and daughter racing each other.

The Men's Dernyfest saw the return of the motor-paced cycling bikes to the track. Cyclists teamed up with a derny rider, making the most of the slipstream to reach high speeds.

This was a great inclusive event at Herne Hill. Spectators enjoyed the mix of women and male races across the different cycling disciplines.
